Job Description

The Factory Unit Manager will manage the entire manufacturing process, coordinating with designers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Plan and oversee cutting, stitching, finishing, and QC to meet deadlines.

Team Supervision:

Manage workers, distribute tasks efficiently, and ensure productivity.
?

Quality Control:

Maintain garment standards, check fits, and resolve defects before dispatch.
?

Inventory & Material Management:

Track stock levels, reduce fabric wastage, and ensure timely procurement.
?

Cost & Efficiency Optimization:

Control labor and material costs while improving production speed.
?

Vendor Coordination:

Work with suppliers and logistics partners for smooth raw material flow and dispatch.

Skills & Qualifications:

? 5+ years of experience in garment manufacturing (preferably in ethnic wear).
? Strong knowledge of cutting, stitching, embroidery, and finishing.
? Experience in managing production teams & optimizing workflows.
? Expertise in cost control, inventory tracking, and quality assurance.
? Proficiency in Excel or ERP systems for production management.

Bonus Skills:

? Experience in wholesale fashion manufacturing.
? Knowledge of lean manufacturing & process improvement techniques.
? Familiarity with Chandni Chowk or Gandhi Nagar production operations.
