Overall responsibility for factory operations including production, quality, maintenance, and dispatch. o Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet business targets. o Ensure adherence to food safety standards, quality norms, and statutory compliances (FSSAI, GMP, hygiene, safety). o Manage manpower including supervisors, operators, contract labour, and staff. o Monitor and control production costs, wastage, and yield improvement. o Coordinate with QA/QC, Supply Chain, Stores, and Maintenance teams. o Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. o Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and factory acts. o Drive continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, process optimization). o Maintain proper documentation, MIS reports, and audit readiness. o Handle audits, inspections, and certifications.
Desired Candidate Profile o
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Food Technology, or relevant discipline. o Experience: 5-10 years of experience in FMCG / Food Manufacturing. o Strong knowledge of production planning, food safety, and quality systems. o Experience handling large shop-floor teams and contract labour. o Good understanding of labour compliances and statutory requirements. o Leadership skills with a problem-solving mindset
