Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized Factory manager to create production schedules, oversee production processes and ensure that the required materials are selected and purchased. Factory Managers are also responsible for ensuring that equipment is functioning correctly and that health and safety protocols are adhered to.

To be successful as a Factory manager you must be able to multitask and oversee several operations at a time. A good Factory manager has excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

Objectives of this role

Manage production schedule for on-time completion Take an active role in factory production planning Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production schedule Manage shipping schedule for on-time delivery

Responsibilities

Provide status reports to direct manager Drive development process through frequent communication with global vendors during product lifecycle Partner with design team for product development approval Partner with internal teams to products within cost parameters

Required skills and qualifications

One to Three years of experience in a Factory Manager-management role Experience in global sourcing and managing product lifecycles Knack for building strong relationships with vendors Experience in negotiating with multiple vendors to meet specified budget Ability to manage a team efficiently and effectively

Preferred skills and qualifications

Associate's degree (or equivalent) in manufacturing or operations Proficiency with PC applications, especially Excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills
