Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Factory Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and a solid understanding of supply chain management and business processes.

Duties

Manage daily factory operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality control. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Oversee the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards. Utilise SAP systems to monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain logistics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise business processes and resolve any operational issues. Train and develop staff to foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork within the factory. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations. Analyse production data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices. Proficient in using SAP systems for production management and reporting. Excellent understanding of quality control processes and standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
