We are looking for an experienced Factory In-Charge to lead and manage end-to end manufacturing operations for premium furniture products. The role involves overseeing production planning, quality control, manpower management, material coordination, and on-time delivery while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.
Location-- Ayesha Compound, Naigaon East (Navghar, Poman area), in the Palghar district near Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
o
Plan, organize, and control daily furniture production operations
o
Ensure production targets are met in terms of quality, cost, and timelines
o
Coordinate with design, sourcing, and sales teams for smooth execution
o
Manage carpentry, polishing, upholstery, finishing, and assembly departments
o
Implement quality control standards for premium furniture output
o
Monitor raw material usage, wastage, and inventory levels
o
Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
o
Supervise factory staff, contractors, and supervisors
o
Handle production schedules for custom and bespoke furniture orders
o
Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, and factory discipline norms
o
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
o
Maintain production reports, MIS, and workflow documentation
Required Skills & Competencies
o
Strong knowledge of wood furniture manufacturing processes
o
Experience in solid wood, veneer, polishing, and upholstery
o
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design specifications
o
Excellent team leadership and people management skills
o
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
o
Good planning, coordination, and time-management skills
o
Familiarity with production planning tools / ERP is a plus
Qualifications
o
Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Furniture Design, Wood Technology, Mechanical, or related field
o
7-15 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, preferably premium or bespoke
