Job Description

Prepare daily/monthly production schedules and ensure timely execution. Monitor blown-film extrusion lines, cast film lines, and bag-making machines. Optimize machine utilization, minimize downtime, and maintain production efficiency. Implement process improvements for better output and material yield. Work closely with QC team for checking film thickness, tensile strength, sealing quality, and print accuracy. Implement preventive actions to reduce rejection and maintain quality consistency. Manage raw materials such as PLA, PBAT, PBS, starch blends, additives, and master batches. Monitor material consumption, reduce wastage, and ensure proper storage to maintain resin quality. Coordinate with purchase and warehouse teams to avoid stock-out situations. Optimize processing temperatures, screw speeds, cooling, sealing, and winding parameters. Diagnose film breakage, gel formation, sealing defects, thickness variations, etc. Supervise operators, technicians, helpers, supervisors, and shift in-charges. Conduct training on machine handling, safety, and compostable resin characteristics. Ensure adherence to factory safety protocols and government environmental regulations. Maintain certifications related to compostable production and compliance with state pollution control boards (SPCB). Ensure availability of critical spares and consumables for uninterrupted production. Reduce machine downtime through timely inspections and maintenance activities. Prepare shift schedules, evaluate performance, and maintain discipline.
