Note : Industrial Machine Manufacturing exp is must.

Key Responsibilities

Factory & Operations Management

Head overall factory operations including

production, fabrication, foundry/casting, machining, assembly, tool room, maintenance, and dispatch

. Establish and manage the plant as an

independent Profit Centre

with full responsibility for cost, productivity, and profitability. Ensure smooth functioning of the

entire production line

(in-house, outsourced, and onsite manufacturing). Drive

daily production planning

, resource allocation, and capacity utilization to meet business targets.

Production & Process Excellence

Lead and mentor a team of

Production Engineers, Supervisors, and Shop Floor staff

. Streamline production systems and processes to improve

yield, productivity, and throughput

. Responsible for

production of castings

, fabrication, machining, and assembly operations. Lead

new product and new casting development

, including coordination for

pattern design and tooling

. Implement

cost-reduction initiatives

, value engineering, and continuous improvement projects.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to

ISO and other statutory quality standards

. Maintain quality checks and documentation as per norms of various

quality-certifying agencies

. Promote a strong

quality culture

, safety practices, and regulatory compliance across the factory. Ensure manufacturing of

value-adding engineering and industrial machine products

.

Planning, Purchase & Supply Chain

Oversee

production planning, material planning, and purchase coordination

. Lead

vendor development

and sourcing of raw materials from new suppliers. Ensure effective

inventory control

of foundry raw materials, WIP, and finished goods. Coordinate with suppliers and outsourced vendors to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

ERP, Systems & Reporting

Ensure effective usage and discipline in

ERP systems

across production, inventory, and purchase functions (mandatory). Monitor KPIs related to

production efficiency, cost, quality, delivery, and inventory

. Prepare and present performance reports to management with actionable insights.

Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with

Design, Engineering, Sales, Quality, and Finance

teams to support business objectives. Support

pre-sales and technical discussions

wherever required. Build a high-performance team through training, performance monitoring, and engagement.

Required Experience & Skills

Extensive experience in

industrial machine manufacturing / heavy engineering / foundry & fabrication environment

. Proven track record of handling

complete factory operations

including: Production planning & execution Purchase & vendor management Quality control & certifications Shop floor & CNC machine operations Tool room & maintenance Strong experience in managing

casting production

, yield improvement, and pattern development. Prior experience in heading or managing a

Profit Centre

. Hands-on experience with

ERP systems

. Strong

analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

. Good computer proficiency and data-driven decision-making ability.
