1. Job Summary



The Factory Admin is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations at the factory. This role involves managing facility upkeep, coordinating with departments, maintaining records, handling compliance documentation, monitoring attendance, and supporting HR & Production teams for various operational activities.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Administrative Operations



Oversee day-to-day factory administration, ensuring all departments function smoothly. Manage office supplies, stationery, tools, safety equipment and ensure availability. Maintain factory cleanliness, housekeeping, and hygiene standards. Coordinate with vendors for facility-related maintenance (plumbing, electrical, repair & services). Handle courier, dispatch documents, and filing systems.

B. Staff & Workforce Management



Monitor attendance, overtime, shift schedules, gate pass entries, and leave records. Support HR in recruitment coordination for factory-level staff. Manage onboarding formalities of new joiners and maintain personnel files. Address basic employee issues related to facilities, canteen, locker, and uniforms.

C. Compliance & Documentation



Maintain all statutory records (Factory Act compliance, safety registers, visitor logs). Ensure fire safety equipment and emergency tools are in working condition. Coordinate with auditors, government inspectors, and safety officials when required.

D. Facility & Asset Management



Monitor utility consumption (electricity, water, diesel for DG set). Maintain AMC records for machinery, CCTV, IT systems, and other factory assets. Support in procurement of admin-related items and prepare comparison sheets.

E. Coordination & Support



Coordinate with production, quality, store, purchase, and HR for daily operational needs. Assist in preparing MIS reports related to admin, attendance, facility management, and manpower. Manage travel arrangements and accommodation for factory visitors & senior management.

3. Required Skills & Competencies



Strong administrative and organizational skills. Knowledge of factory operations in manufacturing sector. Basic understanding of HR, attendance systems, and statutory compliances. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Email, and ERP (preferred).

4. Education & Experience



Graduate in any discipline (B.Com/BA/BBA preferred). 2-5 years of experience in factory administration (manufacturing industry preferred). Experience in furniture, metal, or engineering industry will be an added advantage.

5. Additional Preferences



Knowledge of safety protocols and Factory Act rules. Experience in managing manpower and facility vendors. Willing to be present at the factory for extended/shift hours, if required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
