Job Summary:
The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the factory, with a focus on administrative management, local procurement, infrastructure maintenance (including civil and painting work), bill verification, and liaisoning activities. This role ensures smooth coordination across departments, vendor management, compliance with safety and statutory norms, and cost-effective operations aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Local Store Purchase:
Manage end-to-end procurement of local materials, tools, consumables, and services.
Develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
Maintain accurate purchase records and stock registers.
2. Civil and Painting Works:
Plan and supervise minor civil construction, repairs, and painting activities within factory premises.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and in-house teams for timely execution.
Ensure quality control, adherence to specifications, and safety compliance.
Monitor project budgets and timelines.
3. Bill Verification:
Scrutinize and verify bills/invoices submitted by vendors and contractors.
Cross-check quantities, rates, approvals, and work completion status before recommending payments.
Maintain proper documentation and support internal/external audits.
4. Liaisoning Work:
Act as a liaison with local government authorities, utility service providers, and other external stakeholders.
Handle factory-related statutory compliances, inspections, and permits.
Represent the organization in local matters, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
5. Administration:
Manage overall administrative functions including housekeeping, security, canteen, and facility management.
Oversee asset management and ensure upkeep of infrastructure and utilities.
Implement and monitor company policies and SOPs within the plant.
Support HR in managing labor and administrative staff.

Pay: ?35,000.00 - ?50,000.00 per month
