The Factory Admin is responsible for managing and supervising administrative and support functions at the factory premises. The role ensures smooth daily operations by coordinating manpower, materials, logistics, maintenance, and compliance activities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Factory Administration:
Supervise day-to-day administrative operations within the factory.
Maintain attendance, overtime, and shift records of factory staff and workers.
Coordinate with HR for recruitment, joining formalities, and documentation of factory employees.
Ensure proper upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of the factory premises.
Monitor security, housekeeping, and canteen operations.
Procurement & Inventory Support:
Assist in purchase of factory consumables, uniforms, and safety equipment.
Maintain records for tools, machinery, and material movement.
Coordinate with the purchase and stores department for material requirements.
Compliance & Documentation:
Maintain records for statutory compliance (ESI, PF, labor laws, etc.) in coordination with HR.
Ensure adherence to safety, fire, and environmental guidelines.
Keep documentation for factory licenses, renewals, and audits up to date.
Coordination & Reporting:
Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth operations.
Handle visitor and vendor management at the factory.
Prepare daily/weekly administrative reports and submit them to management.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and coordination skills
Knowledge of factory administration and labor management
Good communication and record-keeping ability
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
Familiar with statutory and compliance requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Administration / Management / HR / Industrial Relations.
3-6 years of experience in factory or plant administration (preferably in manufacturing background).
