Facility Supervisor - Sundari Silks INDIA - Textile Showroom

Location: T Nagar
Experience: 2 - 3 years (Facility / Maintenance supervision)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Facility Supervisor to manage the day-to-day upkeep of our textile showroom. The ideal candidate will oversee housekeeping, cleaning, electrical, and general maintenance operations to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and monitor housekeeping and cleaning teams to maintain showroom hygiene standards.

Plan and implement daily cleaning schedules for all showroom areas.

Handle electrical maintenance - lighting, sockets, wiring checks, and equipment servicing.

Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance for electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.

Maintain stock of cleaning materials and maintenance tools.

Supervise and train housekeeping and maintenance staff.

Liaise with vendors and contractors for specialized services.

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and facility standards.

Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain service records.

Requirements

Education: Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Management (preferred).

Experience: 2-3 years in facility or maintenance supervision, ideally in a retail or textile showroom.

Knowledge of housekeeping operations, electrical systems, and safety protocols.

Good communication and leadership skills.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and resolve issues promptly.
