Roles and Responsibilities



1. Facilities Operations & Maintenance



Oversee day-to-day operation and maintenance of college buildings, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, libraries, and common areas Ensure electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water supply, and sanitation systems function properly Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance schedules Coordinate repairs and upgrades to minimize disruption to academic activities

2. Infrastructure & Asset Management



Maintain records of buildings, equipment, and physical assets Monitor condition of infrastructure and recommend improvements Plan space utilization for academic and administrative needs Support infrastructure development projects and renovations

3. Safety, Security & Compliance



Ensure campus safety standards and emergency procedures are followed Coordinate fire safety, evacuation drills, and safety inspections Ensure compliance with government, accreditation, and regulatory requirements Monitor security services and access control systems
4. Housekeeping & Campus Cleanliness

Supervise housekeeping staff and sanitation services Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, hostels, and outdoor areas Ensure proper waste management and hygiene standards
5. Vendor & Contractor Management

Liaise with contractors, service providers, and suppliers Supervise outsourced services such as security, housekeeping, and maintenance Ensure quality of work, adherence to timelines, and cost control
6. Budgeting & Resource Management
