The Facility Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of all company premises. This role oversees maintenance, safety, housekeeping, vendor management, and facility operations to create a productive, compliant, and well-maintained workspace for employees.
Oversee day-to-day facility operations across offices and kitchens.
Conduct regular inspections of infrastructure, electricals, plumbing, HVAC, security systems, and equipment.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed promptly and with minimum disruption.
Maintain AMCs and schedules for preventive maintenance.
2. Safety, Compliance & Hygiene
Ensure the workplace complies with safety, fire, and environmental regulations.
Conduct routine safety checks and maintain compliance documentation.
Oversee housekeeping standards and hygiene protocols across all units.
3. Vendor & Contractor Management
Manage external vendors for housekeeping, security, pest control, repairs, and supplies.
Negotiate contracts and ensure service-level adherence.
Track vendor performance and budget utilization.
4. Space Planning & Office Setup
Plan office seating, desk allocation, and space optimization.
Coordinate office relocations, new kitchen setups, or renovations.
Ensure all infrastructure (WiFi, electricity, utilities) is operational during expansions.
5. Asset & Inventory Management
Maintain an updated asset register (furniture, equipment, appliances).
Track repairs, replacements, and warranties.
Monitor inventory of facility supplies (cleaning supplies, basic repairs, utilities).
6. Utility & Cost Management
Track utility consumption (electricity, water, gas) and optimize costs.
Prepare facility budgets and monthly reports.
7. Employee Support & Issue Resolution
Address facility-related complaints and ensure quick resolution.
Maintain a clean, safe, and employee-friendly environment.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation:
Graduate in Facilities Management / Engineering / Administration (preferred).
Experience:
3-6 years of experience in facility management, administration, or operations.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of building systems and compliance norms.
Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving mindset and quick decision-making.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
