Job Description

The School Guard Head is responsible for overseeing the security and safety of a school campus. This position ensures that all students, faculty, staff, and visitors are safe and secure on school grounds. The School Guard Head supervises and coordinates the work of the school guards and maintains the security equipment and systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a security plan for the school, including procedures for emergency situations and security protocols for events.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of school guards, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Monitor security equipment and systems, including security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems, and ensure that they are functioning properly.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify potential security risks and develop plans to mitigate those risks.
• Work closely with school administrators and law enforcement officials to ensure the safety and security of the school.
• Develop and implement procedures for the safe arrival and departure of students, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records of all security-related incidents and prepare reports as needed.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies and community organizations to enhance school security.
• Assist with the coordination of school events and activities, ensuring that appropriate security measures are in place.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations and maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor\'s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in school security or law enforcement.
• Knowledge of security equipment and systems, including security cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams of employees.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, students, and law enforcement officials.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to resolve complex security issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management software.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Job Type: Regular / Permanent Salary: Up to 30,000.00 per month Schedule:
