The Facility Manager will oversee the overall operations, maintenance, and management of a co-working space. The role ensures the facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming, while delivering a seamless experience for members and visitors. This position requires strong coordination skills, a focus on operational excellence, and the ability to manage vendors and service teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day facility operations including housekeeping, maintenance, and security.
Ensure smooth functioning of all systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, IT infrastructure, and safety equipment.
Coordinate and supervise vendors and service providers for maintenance, cleaning, and other operational needs.
Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and overall member experience.
Monitor space utilization, preventive maintenance schedules, and energy consumption.
Handle member or tenant concerns related to facility issues promptly.
Plan and control facility budgets, track expenses, and implement cost optimization.
Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
Support events, community activities, and space setups when required.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all spaces meet operational standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree (Any).
5-8 years of experience in facility or operations management -- preferably in co-working, commercial real estate, or hospitality.
Strong understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.
Excellent communication, leadership, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software tools.
Ability to multitask and manage operations across multiple locations (if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Facility management certification (FMP, CFM, or equivalent).
Experience in managing flexible workspaces or serviced offices.
Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives.
