Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive

Building/Facility Maintenance Professional

with 6-10 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and managing the infrastructure, utilities, and general upkeep of commercial, residential, or industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will ensure that all systems and facilities are operating efficiently and comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance:

Perform or supervise regular preventive maintenance of

HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, elevators, fire alarms, generators

, and other facility equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil systems.

Facility Operations:

Monitor and manage building systems to ensure uninterrupted operation of all essential utilities and services. Oversee daily maintenance operations and coordinate repairs and service requests. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality of common areas, infrastructure, and critical systems.

Vendor & Contractor Management:

Supervise third-party contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks (e.g., fire safety systems, air conditioning servicing). Review work quality and ensure all vendors follow safety and compliance protocols.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain records of maintenance schedules, repairs, equipment logs, and compliance reports. Report operational status, issues, and maintenance requirements to senior management.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to

building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

(e.g., OSHA, local fire codes). Conduct routine safety checks and support audits and inspections.

Requirements:

6-10 years

of proven experience in building or facility maintenance. Strong technical knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, and civil systems. Familiarity with energy management and BMS (Building Management System) is a plus. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and SOPs. Skilled in using tools and diagnostic equipment. ITI/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent (required); a degree is an advantage. Good communication and team coordination skills.
