The Facility Executive (Soft Services) is responsible for overseeing and managing the
housekeeping, waste management, landscaping, pest control, and other non-technical services
at the facility. The role ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of soft services with a focus on maintaining hygiene, safety, customer satisfaction, and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Service Delivery
Supervise and monitor housekeeping, security, pest control, landscaping, and waste management services.
Ensure daily cleaning schedules, periodic deep cleaning, and upkeep of common areas are carried out effectively.
Oversee pantry, front office, and other support services as applicable.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality and compliance with facility SOPs.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely execution of assigned tasks.
People Management
Supervise deployed housekeeping and security staff to ensure adherence to duty rosters.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to staff for maintaining service quality.
Address staff grievances and escalate matters to management when necessary.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as the first point of contact for client escalations related to soft services.
Maintain strong relationships with tenants/residents and address their service-related concerns.
Submit periodic MIS reports to clients and management.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure staff compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Monitor use of cleaning chemicals, consumables, and PPE as per safety guidelines.
Maintain documentation of statutory requirements (PF, ESI, police verification, etc.) for deployed manpower.
Cost & Resource Management
Monitor usage of consumables and ensure cost control without compromising service quality.
Verify vendor bills and ensure accuracy of service delivery against invoices.
Support Facility Manager in preparing budgets and cost reports.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of housekeeping, pest control, security, and waste management practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and manage vendor staff effectively.
Problem-solving skills with a customer service mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and facility management reporting.
Qualification & Experience
Graduate in Hotel Management / Facility Management / Any Discipline (preferred).
3-5 years of experience as Facility Executive in facility management (soft services).
Exposure to IT Parks or Commercial Offices preferred.
