The Facility Executive will assist in managing the hospital's facility operations, ensuring that the infrastructure, utilities, and maintenance services function smoothly and efficiently. The role involves coordination with multiple departments, supervision of maintenance staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards across the premises.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Facility & Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing day-to-day facility operations.
Supervise housekeeping, maintenance, and technical staff to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and biomedical equipment.
Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hospital standards.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors for maintenance work, repairs, and AMC services.
Maintain records of maintenance logs, material usage, and service reports.
Ensure timely resolution of facility-related complaints raised by hospital departments.
Support energy conservation and waste management initiatives within the hospital.
Assist in planning facility-related budgets, material procurement, and inventory management.
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety norms, and statutory compliance requirements.
Prepare periodic reports and submit them to the Facility & Maintenance Manager.
Coordinate for smooth functioning during hospital events, audits, and inspections.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Management (preferred).
2-5 years of experience in facility or maintenance operations, preferably in a healthcare setup.
Strong understanding of maintenance systems, housekeeping standards, and vendor coordination.
Good communication, documentation, and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with maintenance management software (if applicable).
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
