Wellington College International Pune (WCI Pune) is the eighth in the Wellington College International family and the first of several planned for India.

We are inviting applications for a Facility Executive, who will be responsible for ensuring that the school premises, infrastructure, and utilities are safe, secure, functional, and well-maintained, thereby supporting a world-class learning environment for students and staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION:



Facilities Management



Oversee day-to-day operations of campus facilities, including classrooms, offices, sports areas, cafeteria and common spaces.

Plan and execute facility upgrades, renovations, and expansion projects in coordination with the administration and academic teams.

Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed for buildings, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other infrastructure.

Conduct routine inspections and safety audits of classrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, transportation, and other infrastructure.

Implement and review disaster preparedness plans, including evacuation drills, first-aid readiness, and emergency response systems.

Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related work.

Maintain and review annual maintenance contracts (AMCs) for critical services.

Ensure compliance with safety, health, fire, and environmental regulations.

Monitor energy usage and implement sustainable practices to reduce operational costs.

Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Plan and execute maintenance schedule during school holidays.

Establish a helpdesk system for reporting, tracking, and resolving facility-related complaints from staff and students.

Oversee campus security operations, including guards, CCTV monitoring, and access control.

Ensure visitor management and emergency protocols are effectively implemented.

Housekeeping, Pest Control and Garden Maintenance



Supervise housekeeping teams to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across the school premises.

Ensure activities as per Daily/Weekly/ Monthly checklist are carried out and records are maintained.

Monitor garden maintenance and pest control schedule.

Monitor supply of HK, Pest Control and Garden maintenance related chemicals/ material/ machinery and their usage.

Cafeteria Management



Oversee daily functioning of the cafeteria, including food preparation, service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Ensure that food is prepared and served as per approved menus, dietary guidelines, and portion standards.

Coordinate with catering vendors and kitchen staff for timely delivery and replenishment of meals/snacks.

Monitor cafeteria ambience and ensure dining areas are safe, clean, and welcoming.

Develop and implement processes for waste management and eco-friendly practices.

Ensure compliance with FSSAI regulations, school food policies, and international standards of food safety.

Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment, storage facilities, and dining areas.

Oversee procurement, storage, and stock rotation of food and beverage supplies.

Monitor inventory levels and control wastage through systematic planning.

Logistics & Support



Coordinate facility-related arrangements for school events, examinations, and co-curricular activities.

Support staff transportation management and ensure school buses meet safety and compliance requirements.

Monitor stock and procurement of facility-related consumables and supplies.

Ensure compliance documents are maintained for all support staff.

Person Specification



Essential Experience / Qualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

3-5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in educational institutions, corporate offices, or hospitality.

Strong knowledge of building systems (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC).

Experience in managing vendors, contracts, and service providers.

Understanding of safety, health, and environmental compliance.
