The Facility Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of building services and infrastructure to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of construction or completed facilities.
Oversee daily operation and maintenance of building services (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting, Elevators).
Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities are well-maintained and compliant.
Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules.
Construction & Site Coordination
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and consultants for facility-related works.
Ensure proper installation and handover of MEP systems.
Monitor quality of workmanship and material usage.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and building regulations.
Maintain records for AMC, statutory approvals, and inspections.
Implement safety procedures and emergency response plans.
Vendor & Cost Management
Manage service providers for electrical, plumbing, housekeeping, security, and landscaping.
Monitor AMC contracts and service-level performance.
Control maintenance costs and prepare reports.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain logs for equipment, maintenance activities, and utility consumption.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly facility reports.
Support audits and client inspections.
