You will be supporting Asia Pacific Workplaces Services Team in providing right working environment with the right facilities support services to enabling us to achieve the business goals

About the role - you will:

  • As a Facilities Program/Project Manager, you need to play an instrumental role in executing and sustaining functional, aesthetically pleasing workspaces at Seagate. Play a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of a facility or multiple facilities within an organization including both utilities and soft services.
  • Ensuring all systems, equipment, & services of electrical, HVAC, fire systems, pantry are functioning effectively and efficiently and safely, included but not limited to managing maintenance activities, coordinating repairs, coordinate & escalate to vendors, and optimizing facility workflows to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in technology, automation, and smart building systems to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. This could involve evaluating new technologies, conducting feasibility studies, and implementing solutions to enhance facility performance and functionality.
  • Maintain document and records to demonstrate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Facility in quality, safety and any other audits both internal and external. Take measures to comply with the health and safety standards.
  • Direct technical facility operations/staff, provide training, conduct safety audits, emphasizing UPS, Precision Air Condition, VRV, BMS, Fire & PA system and critical FM equipment supporting onsite technical operations.
  • Ensure optimal performance and 100% Uptime of Seagate Critical areas Data center, Labs without business impact.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, tracking Budgets Vs Actuals, and initiate cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to address facility issues, ensuring Workplace Services align with business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for facility maintenance.
  • Execute office fit-out projects and efficiently manage refurbishment initiatives.
  • Liaison with building owners to minimize building-related impacts on Seagate operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations site includes soft services, consumables, stock management, waste. Support employee services, including pantry, cafeteria, event management, and Transport Management.
  • Review utilities and other stock consumption and strive to minimize cost.
  • Supervise facility staff (housekeeping, technicians, parking staff)
  • Control activities like parking space allocation, space allocation, waste disposal etc
  • Manage vendor sourcing, PR processes, invoices, and vendor relationships.
  • Responsible for Surplus Asset management.
  • Added advantage of having knowledge of National Building Code, IEEE, ISHARE, NFPA etc
About you:
  • Minimum educational requirement: Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical or Electronics
  • Extensive knowledge in Facilities management, Project Management, covering MEP systems, BMS, Data center, HVAC/ Air-condition, Fire System, ESD/Lab Clean rooms operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong communicator with good written skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Good team player, problem solving and ability to get work done
  • Pro-active approach to go beyond standard duties and work with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrate a passion for service, self-motivated, process oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Embrace a positive attitude and work ethic, fostering adaptability, continuous learning, and exploration of new ideas.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good data analytic skills
  • Accountability, Integrity, Customer Focus,
  • Proficient in MS Office, knowledge of MS Excel and Smartsheet for analysis and refining present data effectively. SAP ERP experience preferred.
Your experience includes:
  • Working experience in IT company. Worked in a Semiconductor or Storage Industry, managed ESD labs will be an added advantage.
  • Insightful knowledge of Facility equipment and infrastructure, abreast with latest technology.
  • Cost Saving Initiatives, Improvement in Efficiency and effectiveness, Enhances Safety and Compliance, Sustainability initiatives and Facility Project Management.
  • Ability to collect and compiling data, analysis and provide reports.
  • Summarizing data and formatting in presentation form
  • Managed Employee Transport
  • Experience of Surplus Asset/E-waste/Harzadous Waste Management
