To ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day functioning of all park facilities through proactive maintenance, team supervision, vendor coordination, and system optimization, while upholding E-O-D's brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Park Maintenance & Upkeep
Oversee the
daily maintenance and upkeep
of all areas within the adventure park, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment for guests and staff.
Conduct regular inspections to identify repair needs, safety hazards, or operational inefficiencies.
2. Preventive Maintenance Planning
Develop and execute a
preventive maintenance schedule
for adventure activities, rides, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other park equipment.
Work closely with the mechanical and electrical teams to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Team Leadership & Supervision
Lead and supervise daily activities of:
Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Team
Housekeeping Department
Horticulture & Landscaping Staff
Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
4. Procurement & Inventory Management
Raise
purchase requests
for maintenance, housekeeping, IT, and horticulture supplies.
Coordinate with vendors and procurement for timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
Maintain inventory records for spares, tools, consumables, and equipment.
5. Record-Keeping & Documentation
Maintain and update records of maintenance schedules, service logs, asset history, repair reports, and utility usage.
Ensure documentation is audit-ready for safety compliance, statutory inspections, and management reviews.
6. Vendor & Contractor Coordination
Liaise with external contractors for specialized services (e.g. IT upgrades, deep cleaning, landscaping projects, specialised equipment repair).
Ensure contractor work meets agreed timelines, costs, and quality standards.
7. Budgeting & Cost Control
Support the preparation of the annual facilities budget.
Track expenses, reduce waste, and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
8. Emergency Preparedness & Safety
Ensure all emergency systems (fire alarms, extinguishers, backup power) are regularly tested and maintained.
Participate in safety drills and coordinate with security for emergency response preparedness.
9. Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship
Implement practices that reduce energy consumption, water waste, and environmental footprint in line with E-O-D's commitment.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field
Minimum 4-5 years' experience in facility/maintenance management (hospitality, amusement parks, retail complexes preferred)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, vendor management, and budgeting
Familiarity with safety protocols, statutory compliance, and environmental standards
Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
