Position & Designation



Grade: Sr. Associate



The Lead, Facilities & Infra shall be designated in Forge at the grade of Sr. Associate and shall be responsible for entire facilities management, utilities management and project management with respect to civil works and vendor management related to the infrastructure. The company expects the incumbent in this role to emerge as a strong candidate for being considered for the role and position of Manager, Facilities & Infra in the grade of Manager within 18-24 months by delivering strong performance and demonstrating significant growth.

Compensation



Forge compensation is at par with the top end of the social enterprises sector in India and continuously benchmarked to be above the average compensation offered in the social (non-commercial or development) sector in general but significantly above the average compensation offered by TBIs.

The Total CTC will include 3 major components namely,

Fixed Monthly Gross

,

Fixed Quarterly Payout,

and

Annual Development Bonus

(linked to demonstration of progress on developing and strengthening capabilities in alignment with the Career Advancement and Capabilities Development framework of Forge).

Role & Responsibilities - Key Result Areas



1. Vendor Management



Overseeing matters relating to vendor management, project budgeting and managing the commercials and overall delivery and commissioning of the works on-budget and on-time, across centres; Identify potential vendors to avail best pricing and product/service at preferred quality and is responsible for vendor evaluation and selection after rigorous assessment of the products/services, price negotiation, structuring and execution of supplier contracts, delivery and commissioning of goods and services, monitoring of support and maintenance services offered by vendors as per the agreed SLAs; Coordinate with civil and architectural consultants to ensure design compliance, site readiness, and timely execution of construction activities as per the project work breakdown structure (WBS); Track milestones and deliverables for civil and interior works, ensuring vendor adherence to specifications, drawings, quality standards, and timelines outlined in the WBS and project plan.

2. Commercial Operations



Own the entire responsibility for all deliverables, outcomes, and results relating to all aspects of commercial operations of the company; End-to-end management of commercial procurement across centres. Includes preparation of RFPs, call for tender, managing tender process, negotiation, contract execution, procurement inspection/verification and administering the AMC etc; Overseeing matters relating to vendor management, project budgeting and managing the commercials and overall delivery and commissioning of the works on-budget and on-time, across centres; Identify potential vendors to avail best pricing and product/service at preferred quality and is responsible for vendor evaluation and selection after rigorous assessment of the products/services, price negotiation, structuring and execution of supplier contracts, delivery and commissioning of goods and services, monitoring of support and maintenance services offered by vendors as per the agreed SLAs; Assist in the documentation process and the implementation of all policies and decisions concerning commercial proposals, purchase process etc; Directly responsible for all commercial aspects relating to the execution of contracts, and payment/collection of fees and other payouts from startups enrolled under any of Forge's programs; Managing suppliers by clearly communicating the opportunities in the Startup Ecosystem that will be created through Forge, exploiting the maximum value and benefit through the procurement at the minimal cost without any compromise in the quality;

3. Facilities & Utilities Management



Responsible for all deliverables, outcomes, and results relating to facilities and administration under Facilities & Infra, Commercial Procurement, General Administration etc; Manage the entire range of operational, commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of the Facilities Management area including Physical Infrastructure, Housekeeping, Utilities & Maintenance etc. by supervising a team of full-time employees and external contractors/suppliers who will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations, across all the Forge centres; Implement security protocols and guidelines for facility access, managing premises security & safety, personnel movement and procedures for tracking access cards, security cameras and other premises safety & surveillance systems; Responsible for inspecting and conducting drills on a regular basis across centres to ensure that occupants are prepared for emergencies, and for implementing safety precautions; Manage the commercial, financial and statutory aspects of fleet and transport services including employees shuttle service, bookings, hotels for all centres;

4. Project Management for the establishment of new centres and expansion of existing centres



Ensure the completion of all the civil and interior works on-time as per desired project plan in coordination with all government and external stakeholders for all centres; Manage all the overall stakeholder coordination and engagement required between government officials, civil and interior infrastructure vendors, architects, Forge management and others (as may be required); Closely review and monitor the work progress at each centre and provide timely updates to Forge management; Prepare and submit weekly progress/status reports to government and Forge stakeholders on the completion of the construction, interior design or repair and maintenance of all centres on a regular basis;
