Role Overview

We are seeking a competent Facade Structural Designer to join our Coimbatore design office. The role involves the structural design, analysis, and engineering of facade systems for premium commercial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Structural design and analysis of unitized, semi-unitized, stick, spider glazing, and bespoke facade systems.

- Design of glass, aluminum, steel members, brackets, anchors, and connections as per applicable codes.

- Preparation and review of structural calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication/shop drawings.

- Perform wind load, seismic load, thermal and deflection analysis for facade elements.

- Coordinate with architects, consultants, production, and site teams.

- Support value engineering and cost optimization.

- Provide technical guidance during fabrication and site installation.

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and project specifications.

- Participate in client, consultant, and internal review meetings.

Qualification & Experience

- B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering.

- Minimum 4+ years of relevant facade structural design experience.

- Strong working knowledge of facade systems and materials.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), Revit (preferred).

- Working knowledge of STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000 or equivalent software.

- Knowledge of IS, ASTM, BS/EN codes related to facade and structural design.
