Key Responsibilities:

Project Coordination:

Manage facade works from design to installation on-site.

Design Management:

Work with architects, consultants, and engineers to ensure facade designs meet structural and aesthetic requirements.

Procurement:

Source materials and facade systems, including glass, aluminum, stone, etc.

Scheduling:

Create and maintain project timelines and milestones.

Cost Control:

Monitor budgets and manage cost variations.

Subcontractor Management:

Oversee facade installers, fabricators, and other subcontractors.

Quality Control:

Ensure facade systems are installed according to specifications and standards.

Health & Safety:

Enforce safety regulations on-site related to facade works.

Interface Management:

Coordinate with other trades (e.g., structural, MEP) to resolve clashes.

Reporting:

Provide regular progress reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

Experience:

5+ years in facade/cladding systems (management roles preferred) Experience on large-scale commercial or residential projects

Skills:

Knowledge of facade systems (curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, glazing, etc.) Familiarity with materials: glass, aluminum, steel, stone, etc. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings Strong knowledge of construction codes and facade engineering principles Excellent communication and negotiation skills Project management software proficiency (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) CAD or BIM familiarity is often a plus
