Job Description

The Facade Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing facade works on construction projects. This role oversees the design, procurement, fabrication, and installation of facade systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, budget, safety standards, and deadlines. The Facade Project Manager acts as the main point of contact between clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers for all facade-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

Lead and manage facade works from concept design through to completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans for facade packages. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.

Design & Technical Coordination

Review architectural and engineering drawings for facade systems. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and architects to resolve design issues. Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and client requirements.

Procurement & Contracts

Prepare and review tender documents, proposals, and contracts for facade works. Manage vendor and subcontractor relationships, including selection and negotiation. Oversee material sourcing, approval, and quality assurance.

Site Execution

Supervise facade installation on-site to ensure quality and safety standards. Coordinate with site teams and subcontractors for smooth execution. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of facade systems.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the key liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers. Provide regular progress reports, updates, and presentations. Resolve disputes, technical issues, and project-related concerns.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in facade design, engineering, or project management. Strong technical knowledge of facade systems (curtain wall, cladding, glazing, etc.). Proficient in project management tools and CAD software. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong understanding of safety regulations and construction standards.
