About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Lead Facade Engineer

to oversee and manage the complete design, engineering, and execution of facade works for our luxury 5-star hotel in Madikeri. This individual will play a pivotal role from the

conceptualization stage

to the

final completion

and

handover

of facade systems, ensuring world-class aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:1. Design & Planning

Lead the conceptualization and design of all facade elements, ensuring architectural intent, structural integrity, and performance standards. Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, and design teams to develop facade strategies aligned with project goals. Evaluate facade systems for performance criteria including thermal insulation, acoustics, structural load, water-tightness, and energy efficiency.

2. Technical Coordination

Prepare and review detailed facade drawings, material specifications, and mock-up requirements. Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and construction managers for system integration. Conduct feasibility assessments of different materials and systems (glass, aluminum, stone, cladding, etc.).

3. Procurement & Vendor Management

Identify, evaluate, and finalize facade contractors, fabricators, and material suppliers. Participate in tendering, negotiation, and awarding of facade packages. Ensure timely procurement of materials as per design and project schedules.

4. Execution & Quality Control

Supervise and inspect on-site facade installation works to ensure alignment with approved drawings and quality standards. Implement stringent quality checks, safety protocols, and testing procedures. Resolve site-level technical issues and provide engineering solutions in real-time.

5. Project Management & Reporting

Prepare facade project plans, timelines, and resource allocation in coordination with the overall construction schedule. Track progress and report regularly to senior project stakeholders. Ensure facade works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field. Master's preferred. Minimum

8-10 years

of proven experience in facade engineering, preferably in high-end hospitality or commercial projects. Strong technical knowledge of curtain walls, glazing, cladding systems, structural glazing, and unitized systems. Familiar with international facade standards and Indian regulatory norms. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, or other facade design tools. Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Has led facade work for at least one luxury hotel or equivalent large-scale project from concept to completion. Solution-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight timelines in a high-expectation environment. Willing to be stationed in or travel frequently to Madikeri, Karnataka.
