Job Overview:

The Junior Engineer in Facade Detailing is an entry-level position focused on assisting with the design, detailing, and drafting of building facade systems. The candidate will be primarily responsible for producing accurate facade shop drawings and supporting the senior engineers in coordinating various facade-related elements of building projects.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and familiar with creating shop drawings for facade systems such as curtain walls, storefronts, cladding, Doors & Windows. The position offers growth opportunities, allowing the candidate to enhance their technical expertise and knowledge in facade design and detailing.

Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in detailing facade elements like Curtain wall systems, Structural glazing, Storefront system, Doors & Windows, Frameless partitions, Spider Glazing, ACP cladding, skylights, canopies & Balustrades. Proficient in AutoCAD; modify designs based on feasibility, customer specifications, and design trends. Produce accurate technical drawings for curtain walls, glazing systems, cladding, and other facade elements under the guidance of senior engineers. Review and issue relevant RFI's for client understanding. Collaborate with senior engineers to prepare shop drawings for different facade systems. Ensure that drawings are accurate and include all necessary specifications, dimensions, and details for installation. Work effectively under pressure, maintaining balance. Perform self-quality checks and generate drawings to meet customer requirements.
Eligibility:

Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural or a related field. 2.5+ years of AutoCAD experience in facade detailing. Demonstrated expertise in facade/curtain wall detailing & drafting. Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills in English. Proficient in AutoCAD.
Requirements:

Experience with AutoCAD. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Good communication skills and a collaborative mind-set. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with facade systems including curtain walls, glazing systems, and cladding materials. Experience in AutoCAD for creating shop drawings for construction and fabrication. Ability to identify discrepancies in design and propose practical, feasible solutions for implementation. Strong analytical skills to handle and resolve technical issues. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, revisions, and deadlines efficiently. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with senior engineers

Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
