Position Title: Faqade Designer

Location: Mohali, Punjab Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

Kazmax Industries (P) Limited is seeking an experienced Faqade Designer with strong technical and practical knowledge of faqade systems, detailing, and execution. The ideal candidate will independently handle faqade design development, prepare technical drawings, and coordinate with project, fabrication, and site teams to deliver high-quality design solutions for commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and develop detailed faqade design drawings, elevations, and sections using AutoCAD or similar software.

Create shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and fixing details based on architectural and structural inputs.

Collaborate with the project, production, and site teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.

Work on material selection (ACP, HPL, aluminium, glass, louvers, etc.) ensuring suitability, durability, and aesthetics.

Review architectural drawings and suggest technical modifications for faqade optimization.

Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors for design alignment and technical approvals.

Ensure all faqade designs comply with safety, structural, and performance standards. Participate in client meetings and provide design support for tenders and project presentations.

Maintain record of design revisions, approvals, and technical documentation.

Key Deliverables

Accurate and complete faqade design and detail drawings.

Timely revisions as per client and site feedback.

Efficient coordination between design, fabrication, and site execution. Designs aligned with budget, quality, and project timelines.

Job Specification - Faqade DesignerEducation & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Interior Design. Additional certification in Faqade Design or Building Envelope Systems preferred.

Experience

Minimum 4--5 years of hands-on experience in faqade/exterior design.

Must have worked on faqade materials like Fundermax, ACP, Aluminium, Glass, and Structural Glazing systems.

Strong understanding of fabrication and installation methods.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.

Working knowledge of Revit, 3Ds Max, or SolidWorks is an advantage.

Deep understanding of faqade fixing systems, joinery details, and load-bearing behavior.

Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings.

Soft Skills

Excellent attention to detail and design sense.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Independent working ability with team leadership potential.

Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Salary Range

- per month (depending on experience and skill set)

Work Schedule

Monday to Saturday 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
