Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient

Facade Designer

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in

civil engineering or architecture

and hands-on experience in facade design. You will be responsible for developing facade concepts, producing detailed drawings, and collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.

Key Responsibilities

Design Development:

Create and develop facade designs that meet aesthetic and technical project requirements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate facade concepts with overall building plans.

Technical Drawings:

Prepare 2D/3D detailed facade drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.

Material Selection:

Research and recommend materials suitable for facade applications based on durability and sustainability.

Compliance:

Ensure all designs comply with local building codes and industry standards.

Construction Support:

Provide technical guidance during construction to resolve facade-related issues.

Client Interaction:

Attend client meetings to present design ideas and provide updates on project progress.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in

Civil Engineering

, Architecture, or a related field.

Experience:

2-6 years of experience in facade design or a related role.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

Revit

, and

SketchUp

is essential.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of building materials, construction methods, and relevant codes.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication, teamwork, aesthetic sense, and attention to detail.

Work Environment

Primarily office-based with optional remote work flexibility. Occasional travel for

site visits
