: Fabrication Welder
Position : Fabrication Welder
Department : Production/Workshop
Location : Bomikhal, Bhubaneswar
Experience : 1+ years (as required)
Key Responsibilities :
Perform welding (MIG/TIG/Arc) as per project requirements.
Fabricate metal structures, frames, brackets, and components as per drawings.
Read and understand engineering drawings, sketches, and measurements.
Operate welding machines, cutting tools, grinders, and fabrication equipment.
Inspect welded joints to ensure quality and accuracy.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Assist in assembling, fitting, and finishing work as required.
Identify material requirements and report shortages.
Skills Required :
Good knowledge of MIG/TIG/Arc welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings.
Knowledge of metal cutting, bending, and grinding.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Qualifications :
ITI/Diploma in Welder or Fabrication (preferred).
Experience in fabrication workshop or heavy/light metal industry.
Additional Requirements :
Physically fit and able to handle workshop tools.
Willing to work overtime if required.
