Job Summary:
The Fabricator is responsible for fabrication, assembly, and installation support of mounting structures and related metal works for solar power plants.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate MS/GI/GALVANIZED Aluminium structures for solar panel mounting.
Perform cutting, drilling, welding(ARC), and grinding of metal components.
Assist in installation of solar module mounting structures at site.
Read and understand fabrication drawings and site instructions.
Ensure proper alignment, strength, and finish of fabricated structures.
Carry out repair and modification works when required.
Follow safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
Coordinate with site engineers and installation team.
Skills & Requirements:
Experience in fabrication work (solar experience preferred).
Knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication tools.
Ability to read basic technical drawings.
Physically fit to work at site and at heights.
Knowledge of safety practices.
Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Welder, or equivalent.
1-3 years experience in fabrication work.
Working Conditions:
Site-based and workshop-based.
Outdoor work and working at heights.
Travel to project sites as required.
