Job Overview:

The Steel Fabricator is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a steel fabrication facility, ensuring that all steel components are fabricated, assembled, and delivered according to specifications, budgets, and deadlines. The role involves coordinating with engineers, welders, fabricators, and other stakeholders to ensure the timely and high-quality production of steel products.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management:

Oversee the entire steel fabrication process from blueprint interpretation to final production, ensuring high-quality and accurate fabrication.

Team Leadership:

Manage a team of fabricators, welders, and other production staff. Provide leadership, training, and performance management to ensure an efficient and skilled workforce.

Scheduling & Planning:

Develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Ensure that deadlines are met and that projects are delivered on time.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure fabricated steel products meet industry standards and customer specifications.

Safety Compliance:

Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure that all employees follow safety guidelines. Address safety concerns and ensure a safe working environment.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the inventory of raw materials, including steel, welding supplies, and other necessary materials. Ensure that resources are available for production without excessive overstocking.

Cost Management:

Monitor project budgets and costs. Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure that the fabrication aligns with project requirements and specifications.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve any technical or production issues that arise during fabrication.

Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure all fabrication machinery and tools are well-maintained and in good working condition.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
