Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various tools and equipment. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all components are assembled accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements Able to handle team of welders & helpers Deliver job on time. Ensure compliance & standards during all fabrication processes Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments Familiarity with mechanical tools such as calipers and micrometers Strong understanding of fabrication processes including assembly, machining, and ductwork Ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects Mechanical knowledge with experience operating cranes and forklifts preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
