Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Review technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine the requirements for metal fabrication projects

Design the layouts and structural design

Cut, bend and shape metal components using a range of fabrication equipment such as saws, lathes, drill presses and grinders

Weld or join metal components together using various techniques and methods including MIG, TIG and ARC welding

Assemble and construct metal products, ensuring that the final product is accurate, functional and meets the required specifications

Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety and quality standards

Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations

Regularly maintain and clean all metal fabrication tools, equipment and machinery used in the workshop

Collaborate with team members including designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met

Continuously develop knowledge of industry trends and advancements in metal fabrication techniques

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or equivalent, a certification in metal fabrication or a related field

Proven experience as a Fabricator or a similar role in a manufacturing / fabrication environment

Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, tools and machinery

Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

Expertise in welding techniques and procedures including MIG, TIG and ARC

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the fabrication process

Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers and project managers

Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in the industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
