Job Description

Fabricate and assemble metal structures and piping systems based on engineering drawings and specifications. Operate fabrication machinery such as shears, brakes, saws, drill presses, and welding machines. Carry out cutting, bending, and welding operations using tools such as oxy-acetylene torches, MIG, TIG, and arc welders. Inspect and measure finished components to ensure conformity with technical drawings and plant standards. Perform structural and piping modifications as required during plant shutdowns, maintenance, or upgrades. Work closely with engineers, fitters, and plant technicians to resolve design and fabrication issues. Ensure all fabrication work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and power plant safety protocols. Maintain and repair fabrication tools and equipment. Document all work performed including material usage, dimensions, and quality control checks.
