Job Description

Fabricators are responsible for executing all the

technical aspects

of the fabrication process, from interpreting designs to cutting and welding materials to meet project specifications. Accurate measurements and cutting are critical, and fabricators use a variety of

tools

to ensure parts fit together correctly. After the materials are cut, the fabricator must

weld or fasten

them together, grind rough edges, and finish the product to meet the desired specifications. Fabricators must

identify and fix

any issues that arise during the fabrication process, whether related to materials, equipment, or design flaws. Proper maintenance of

fabrication equipment

ensures that tools are reliable and functional, which is crucial for smooth operations. Fabricators should

maintain records

of materials used, processes followed, and quality checks conducted to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
