Ensure fabrication activities are executed as per:
Approved
design drawings
WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications)
ASME Section VIII

IS 2825
, and applicable fabrication standards
Read and interpret
fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and isometrics
Verify
dimensions, fit-ups, and weld joints
before inspection
Ensure compliance with
NDT, PWHT, hydrotest, and quality requirements
Support
QA/QC teams
during stage inspections and final inspections by clients or third-party agencies
Monitor welding activities and ensure correct welding processes are used:
SMAW
GTAW
SAW
FCAW
Ensure safe use of
lifting and rigging equipment
at site/workshop
Handle daily production planning, manpower allocation, and progress reporting
