Oversee all fabrication, installation, and maintenance activities within the brick manufacturing plant.
Supervise fabrication teams and assign daily tasks for efficient workflow.
Prepare and review fabrication drawings and material requirement plans.
Ensure timely completion of fabrication works for conveyors, mixers, moulds, kilns, and other machinery.
Monitor machine performance and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Maintain strict quality control standards during fabrication and assembly processes.
Manage project costs, budgets, and material utilization efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and industrial regulations.
Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement departments for smooth plant operations.
Liaise with vendors and contractors for fabrication materials and outsourced jobs.
Train and guide workshop staff on new techniques and safety protocols.
Maintain proper documentation of all fabrication works, repairs, and modifications.
Plan and execute regular inspections and equipment audits.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5-10 years of experience in industrial fabrication or plant maintenance.
Strong knowledge of welding, structural fabrication, and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
Leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
