Job Description

Fabricate, assemble, and install pipelines, tanks, and pressure vessels as per drawings and specifications. Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting work on metal sheets and pipes. Carry out alignment, tack welding, and fit-up activities before final welding. Use measuring tools (tape, vernier, square, etc.) to ensure accuracy. Follow safety standards during fabrication and erection work. Assist welders during welding and ensure proper fit-up. Conduct inspection of completed work for quality compliance. Report material requirements and fabrication issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a mechanical fitter or similar role. Experience in manufacturing, mining, construction, or heavy industry. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in Fitter or equivalent trade. Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication Fitter of MS/SS pipelines, tanks, and vessels. Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings. Knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety practices. Willingness to work at site or workshop as required.
