Job Title: Fabrication Fitter

:

We are looking for an experienced Fabrication Fitter to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for fitting, assembling, and fabricating metal structures, frames, and components according to engineering drawings and fabrication standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and technical specifications.

Perform marking, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting of structural components.

Carry out fabrication and assembly of steel structures, conveyors, supports, chutes, and tanks.

Check dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, tape, and square.

Prepare joints for welding and assist welders during fabrication.

Ensure proper alignment, fit-up, and quality finish of all fabricated parts.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workspace in good condition.

Follow safety guidelines and ensure quality standards in all operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma in Fitter, Fabrication, or Mechanical trade.

1-5 years of experience in fabrication fitting or structural fitting (freshers may also apply).

Sound knowledge of fabrication tools, machines, and measurement techniques.

Ability to work from technical drawings with accuracy.

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Work Location: SMT MACHINES INDIA LIMITED, METAL PARK RAIPUR.

Salary: As per industry standards / negotiable based on experience.
