to manage shop floor operations and ensure efficient production planning for multi-alloy fabrication work. The role involves technical supervision of fabrication processes, workflow scheduling, and manpower coordination to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and monitor daily/weekly production plans based on project requirements
Supervise fabrication of piping, structural, and pressure components using CS, SS, DSS, SDSS, Titanium, Monel & Nickel Alloys
Ensure work is executed as per fabrication drawings, WPS/PQR, and relevant standards (ASME/ASTM)
Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and procurement for smooth workflow
Manage manpower allocation for welders, fabricators, fitters, and machine operators
Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
Ensure proper material traceability, dimensional checks, and quality compliance
Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in the fabrication shop
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience in fabrication/production planning supervision
Strong technical knowledge of welding and fabrication processes for special alloys
Ability to read isometric drawings, fabrication drawings, and MTOs
Experience in shop load planning, material availability tracking & resource optimization
Good communication, leadership, and team management skills
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
