Role Overview:

We are looking for a technically proficient and quality-driven

Fabrication Engineer

to oversee fabrication activities at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in

steel fabrication

, knowledge of welding and assembly processes, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise fabrication operations and ensure adherence to project drawings and standards. Plan daily fabrication activities and allocate manpower effectively. Coordinate with design, planning, and quality control teams for smooth production flow. Monitor welding, cutting, and assembly processes for accuracy and quality compliance. Maintain fabrication records, production reports, and progress updates. Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and efficient use of materials. Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualification:

Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year in steel fabrication, PEB, or structural steel manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and quality parameters. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Only Chennai-based candidates
