Job Description

PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) fabrication contractor would outline the responsibilities, required skills, and experience for a role focused on manufacturing and assembling PEB structures. These roles often involve managing fabrication processes, ensuring quality control, and overseeing the installation of PEB components.

. Responsibilities:

Fabrication :

Overseeing the fabrication of PEB components (columns, beams, trusses, purlins, etc.) to meet design specifications and quality standards.

Quality Control:

Ensuring that all fabricated components are inspected and meet required quality standards, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Project Management :

Coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of fabricated components.

Equipment Management :

Maintaining and overseeing the use of fabrication equipment and machinery, ensuring proper operation and safety.

Team Leadership:

Supervising fabrication crews, providing training, and motivating employees to achieve production goals.

Safety Compliance:

Implementing and enforcing safety protocols in the fabrication shop to ensure a safe working environment.

Cost Management:

Tracking fabrication costs, managing budgets, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

Problem Solving:

Identifying and resolving any issues that arise during the fabrication process, ensuring minimal delays and cost overruns.

Documentation :

Maintaining detailed records of fabrication processes, quality control checks, and safety procedures.
. Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, structural, or related field) or relevant technical diploma.

Experience:

Experience in steel fabrication, welding, and/or PEB construction.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, understanding fabrication processes, and using fabrication software.

Management Skills:

Leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Safety Knowledge:

Understanding and adherence to safety regulations and best practices in a fabrication environment.

Industry Knowledge:

Knowledge of PEB systems, materials, and construction
