Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Fabric Supervisor

to oversee fabric handling, inspection, storage, and issuance processes. The ideal candidate will ensure fabric quality standards are met, minimize waste, and coordinate closely with production, cutting, and inventory teams to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily fabric inspection, receiving, storage, and issuing activities Ensure fabric quality meets company and buyer specifications Monitor fabric defects, shade variations, and shrinkage issues Maintain accurate fabric inventory records and reports Coordinate with cutting, production, and planning teams Reduce fabric wastage and improve material utilization Train and manage fabric store and inspection staff Ensure proper labeling, batching, and traceability of fabrics Follow health, safety, and workplace compliance standards Report fabric shortages, damages, and quality issues to management

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabric Supervisor or similar role Strong knowledge of fabric types, defects, GSM, and quality standards Experience in garment or textile manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret fabric inspection reports Basic computer skills (Excel, inventory systems preferred) Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Textile Technology or related field Experience with 4-point fabric inspection system Knowledge of buyer compliance and audit requirements

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?29,000.00 per month
