Role profile: Research & identify the latest fabric trends and technologies, and develop innovative fabrics and finishes to enhance the design and quality of our fabrics.
Collaborate with designers & suppliers to develop fabrics & execute development plans, ensuring that deadline are met.
Partner with mills to develop new fabrics and maintain strong relationships.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape, including pricing & fabric positioning, and share insights with the design team.
Collaborate with other departments, including product & design to ensure that fabric choices align with overall business goals.
Partner with corporate testing to ensure all fabrics are developed to meet testing standards.

Skills: Strong knowledge fabric development, construction, finishing techniques, and sustainable textile solutions.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with mills
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and opportunities in the market
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.


Qualifications: M.Tech Textiles preferred


Experience: 5 years of experience in Fabric R&D and sourcing in the apparel industry
