Job Responsibilities
Follow up with mills, vendors & traders for fabric orders
Track fabric delivery schedules against production timelines
Coordinate lab dips, strike-offs, approvals & bulk confirmations
Ensure fabric quality, GSM, shade & lot consistency
Monitor fabric inspection, testing & inwarding at factory
Escalate delays, shortages or quality issues proactively
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, PPC & Production teams
Maintain fabric trackers and MIS reports
Mills visit time to time.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
5 to 8 years in fabric chasing / fabric follow-up
Strong knowledge of
woven & knit fabrics
Experience in garment manufacturing setup (mandatory)
Good communication, coordination & follow-up skills
Working knowledge of Excel / ERP preferred
