Job Title - Facade Design Engineer

Experience - 5 - 12 years

Location - Bangalore

Notice period - 15 days

Qualification- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills - experience in facade design and detailing.

Strong command of AutoCAD; working knowledge of SolidWorks, HICAD, or 3D modeling

tools is an advantage.

? Proven experience in unitized, semi-unitized, curtain wall, and glazing systems.

? Strong understanding of facade materials (aluminum, glass, ACP, steel) and installation

techniques.

? Experience with both India and GCC projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities

? Understand the overall project scope and facade design requirements.

? Study and interpret architectural drawings, GFC drawings, and consultant specifications.

? Prepare and develop detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and 3D models for

facade systems including:

o Unitized systems

o Semi-unitized systems

o Curtain wall systems

o Glazing systems (structural, stick, spider, skylights, etc.)

o ACP cladding, louvers, and other architectural facade elements.

? Prepare and issue work orders aligned with approved drawings and project requirements.

? Conduct meetings with the Production Department to provide clarifications and guidance

on shop drawings.

? Prepare technical reports, drawing status reports, and coordination records for internal

and client updates.

? Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and site engineers to ensure

design intent is maintained.

? Review structural calculations, material specifications, and codes/standards for

compliance.

? Participate in technical meetings, resolve design-related queries, and provide practical

solutions during project execution.

? Prepare material take-offs and support procurement with technical input.

? Stay updated with new facade technologies, industry standards, and materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
