Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and polished Food & Beverage Service Executive to join a

private household team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the preparation,

service, and presentation of meals, ensuring an impeccable dining experience for family members &

guests. This is a key role within the household team, requiring someone with excellent service skills,

attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality in a home setting.

Meal Service

Serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and beverages to the

family and guests in a timely and professional manner.

Assist with setting the table, arranging place settings,

and ensuring all food and drinks are served at the correct

temperature.

Ensure the dining table is presented beautifully, with a

focus on cleanliness, orderliness, and aesthetics.

Attend to guests' needs during meals, including

refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and offering

additional items as necessary.

Food & Beverage Preparation Assistance

Assist the chef or cook with the preparation of meals,

ensuring the correct items are presented and served.

Ensure the proper handling, storage, and presentation

of all food and beverages.

Help with menu planning, making sure to take into

account any dietary restrictions, preferences, or

allergies.

3 Service Standards

Maintain a high standard of service at all times,

reflecting the household's values and lifestyle.

Ensure the privacy and discretion of all household

members and guests.

Act as the primary point of contact for ensuring

smooth, uninterrupted service during events or daily

meals.

4 Event Support

Assist in organizing and serving at private events or

gatherings held at the residence.

Help set up and break down events, ensuring the

dining experience meets the family's standards for

formal occasions, parties, or casual gatherings.

Coordinate with other household staff to ensure

smooth service during events.

5 Inventory and Stock Management

Keep track of inventory levels for food, beverages,

and other related supplies.

Assist with stocking, ordering, and receiving

deliveries, ensuring that all items are fresh and stored

properly.

6 Guest and Family Interaction

Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, attending

to any specific requests with discretion.

Anticipate the needs of the family members and

guests, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.

Maintain a professional and courteous demeanour at

all times, particularly in the presence of guests and

visitors.

Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in private household food and beverage service, or in high-end

restaurants, hotels, or catering.

Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour.

o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

o A thorough understanding of formal dining etiquette and service standards.

o Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the household's

needs.

o Knowledge of wine and beverage service.

o Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and family needs
