Position Overview:

Early Years Programme (EYP) Teacher

As an EYP teacher at Riverdale World School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experiences of young learners aged 3 to 6 years. Your focus will be on fostering inquiry-based learning, supporting holistic development, and creating a supportive and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development & Implementation

Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework. Integrate transdisciplinary themes to encourage inquiry and exploration. Assess and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of young learners.

Classroom Management & Student Support

Establish a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere. Implement strategies that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development. Collaborate with support staff to address individual learning needs.SimplyHired+1Shine+1

Parental & Community Engagement

Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Organize and participate in school events that involve the wider community. Provide guidance to parents on supporting learning at home.

Professional Development & Collaboration

Engage in continuous professional learning to stay abreast of best practices in early childhood education. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and reflect on teaching practices. Participate in school-wide initiatives and committees.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience in teaching early years, preferably within an IB PYP setting. Strong understanding of child development and inquiry-based learning. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is advantageous.
